NEXT TRIAL
The next trial is on the 12th of September the venue may have to change from Daviot to somewhere else so keep an eye out here.
---------------------------------------------------------
26 riders turned up for the last trial on a wonderfull sunny day at Lumsden for the burn sections trial. Reports say it was good with a nice mix of burn, hill climb and tight sections. Results are now on the results page.
---------------------------------------------------------
The clubs first trial (round7) took place at Hill of Tillymorgan on the 4th of July in mixed weather. This is a large piece of ground and you get the feeling we only scratched the surface of the posibilities this weekend. Thanks to the guys who spent a lot of evenings cutting the route through the trees. A fairly small entry again turned up for this one which is a shame. Come on guys (and girls) the club trials are suited to all abilities and all are welcome. Results now on events/results page.
---------------------------------------------------------
Round 6 of the club championship was run on the 6th of June at Craik Farm near Lumsden. After the heavy rain on Saturday we were lucky with a dry day. The sections were very tights for everyone with some tough intermediate and very tough expect sections. Results are now on the events/results page.

ALFORD MOTORCYCLE CONVENTION
This year BAMCC run motorcycle convention as the Alford Motor Museum is on the 5th of September. Last years event was our first attempt at running this popular show and it was a huge success. We've stepped things up again this year so don't miss the unique opportunity to come alone and watch or help out to get even closer to the spectacular event. More details HERE.
------------------------------------------------------------
The first hare and hounds event at club member Robbie Allan's new Tinto Moto Off Road Park took place on the 30th of May.
According to www.scottishenduros.co.uk "An excellent venue where there was a fast MX track to start - followed by some nice hills and then a blast across the very scenic moors back to some tricky off camber descents.
The weather stayed dry all day - with only a bit of dust on the MX track."
Club Member Bill McGregor was on hand again with his camera. His photos can be found HERE.
Video of the Hare and Hounds is now available to watch online HERE (www.yellowhattv.com).
Thanks to Niall Hewitt for this.

Brian, the calendar is available under the events/results page.
The round on the 12th of Sep will probably change venue as Daviot is not available.

Just to say, it was my lad and I that was standing around at Lumsden on the 15th Aug...
...now I am trying to work out how to use this site, not doing too well !

Wanted, 125 trials bike (buy or borrow).
I would prefer to buy, but would be more than happy to borrow one for a while.
I say borrow, as the aim for this bike is as an introduction to trials for my lad, get a bit of practice with a view of him doing trial events next year (and maybe me a well).
If we get a load of a bike, it will only be used on a grass field, with some earth âhumpsâ ...no rocky outcrops or water features.
I have had a look in T+M news...but Aberdeenshire seems to be in a different galaxy to most of the trials bikes for sale
There must be some bikes out there...just sitting unused in a shed just wanting to be used again

Big thanks to Gav for delivering a couple of bikes to me, and giving my lad some kit. Once my lad has some basic skills, we plan to join the club. Cheers Dave
